Embossing on photo books
We offer two possibilities for personalising your cover. The first option you can choose is embossing. Embossing means that lead dies shaped like letters are stamped into the material to create raised text, either with or without metallic foil (available in the colours gold, silver, black and white). This can be done on virtually all cover materials, with the exception of the Royal Collection, photo covers and Plexiglass covers. It is, however, possible to emboss on the Royal Collection without foil. There is only one font available for embossing.
Laser-engraved text on a photo book
The other possibility is laser-engraved text. Would you like a text in a particular font or perhaps an original design on the cover? In that case, you should choose laser engraving. This means we will use a laser to engrave your text and/or design into the material of the cover. Laser engraving is not possible on all covers. Under each cover colour, we have indicated whether or not that colour is suitable for laser engraving.
