In the heart of Dordrecht, you'll find an active and green pre-vocational school (vmbo) where around 500 students learn with and in nature every day. At a school where everything blooms and grows, the team looked for a way to bring that unique, green energy inside the building. The offices and meeting rooms were still bare and needed warmth and character. The goal of the wall art was two-fold: to tastefully decorate the walls and to tell the school's story.

The common thread: sheep and hands-on learning in the spotlight

A professional photographer was brought in to capture the story of the school. The photographer took stunning photos in and around the school grounds, with a clear focus on outdoor activities.

As you walk past the 21 brand-new pieces of wall art, a clear theme emerges. Almost every photo shows a specific aspect of the practical training program. The absolute favorite in the pictures? The sheep! Not only are they a wonderful symbol of the green curriculum, but they also create a direct, historical connection to Dordrecht: a city whose residents have traditionally and affectionately been nicknamed 'Schapenkoppen' (Sheep Heads).

The result is a series of images that perfectly reflects the staff's pride in their school and their students.

Large-format canvas prints in floating frames

Through the photographer, who has been a trusted partner of Profotonet for many years, Yuverta was introduced to Profotonet. An impressive size was chosen to display the 21 images: 80x120cm canvas prints, framed in high-end floating frames.
