Choosing a Solid Background Color
Want a calm and elegant background for your photo book? Then choose a solid color. This can be easily set in the Inspector menu (on the right) under the last tab. Here, you can select the color for your left and right pages using the color palette.
Do you have a specific RGB color in mind? Click “Other” in the color palette and choose “Define Custom Colors.” Enter the RGB values to get the exact color you want, then save your selection.
Selecting a Standard Background
In the library at the bottom of your screen, you’ll find the Backgrounds tab. Here, you can choose from a wide range of backgrounds for different themes, such as baby photos, travel photos, or wedding photos.
To add a standard background, simply drag the desired background onto the left or right page of your photo book. Want the background to span across two pages? Drag it to the center of the spread and release it.
Adding Your Own Photo as a Background
Prefer to use your own photo as the background for your photo book? It’s easy! Drag the photo you want into your album, then right-click and choose Fit > Scale to Page or Scale to Spread. Want to move the photo to the background? Click Arrange and select Send to Back to place the photo behind the other content on your page.
Tip: In the Inspector menu, you can adjust the opacity of the photo to make the background more subtle. This prevents the photo from drawing too much attention and keeps the focus on the main content of your photo book.
With these simple steps, you can fully personalize your photo book and choose a background that perfectly matches your style. Whether you select a standard background, a solid color, or your own photo, your photo book is guaranteed to look beautiful!
