For a framed photo, you can choose from various Fine Art paper types, including Hahnemühle options, each with its own look and surface texture. From subtly matte to velvety soft, the selected paper determines how colours, contrast and details are perceived. Fine Art prints are known for their accurate image reproduction and refined appearance, allowing your photo to come into its own in a calm and balanced way within the frame.

: What is conservation framing?
The photo is mounted onto polystyrene using acid-free adhesive, preventing it from warping or rippling. The mount is of high quality and free from acid and lignin, ensuring that neither the print nor the mount will discolour over time and that nothing detracts from the image itself.
Because we use only materials and techniques that provide long-term protection, this method is known as conservation framing. It ensures that you can enjoy your beautiful print for many years to come.
: Can I choose from all paper types?
No, glossy paper types cannot be selected, as the photo may stick to the glass.
: Can the photo frames be placed on a surface?
No, our photo frames are not suitable for standing on a surface.
The available sizes start at 20 × 30 cm, and the frames are too heavy to be placed safely. For this reason, we only offer frames that are designed to be hung on the wall.
: Why is my photo mounted on polystyrene?
The photo is mounted on polystyrene to prevent it from warping due to humidity or temperature changes. This smooth and rigid material ensures that the print remains flat and wrinkle-free.
: Is my photo large enough to print sharply?
As soon as you upload your photo file, the system automatically checks whether your image contains enough pixels per centimetre to ensure a sharp print. If this is not the case, the program will indicate this with a red circle containing an exclamation mark.
: My photo is not shown completely or only partially. Why is this happening?
This usually happens because the aspect ratio of the photo file differs from that of the selected format. If the chosen format has a different (smaller) ratio, part of the image will be cropped.
Want to avoid this? Then select a format on the left side in the toolbar under Options that better matches the aspect ratio of your photo file.
: I have a landscape photo, but it is shown in portrait orientation. How can I change this?
You can adjust the rotation by selecting ‘Change orientation’. This option can be found on the right-hand side of the page or on the left in the toolbar under Options.
: Can I order a size that is not listed on the website?
No, unfortunately that is not possible. We can only produce the sizes that are available as options on the website.
: When can I expect my ordered product?
The production time for a framed photo is on average 7 working days. Once production is completed, your order is handed over to the postal service on the same day. You will receive a confirmation email with a Track & Trace code, allowing you to follow the shipment.
