Choose glossy plexiglass if you want maximum depth and intensity: colours appear extra vibrant and the image gains a luxurious, gallery-like appearance. For a photo print behind plexiglass, you can choose between Fujifilm photo paper and glossy Fine Art inkjet paper. Fujifilm photo paper is exposed using advanced laser technology and chemically developed. This ensures smooth tonal transitions, deep colours and a photographic look with a high level of detail. Fine Art inkjet paper is printed with top-quality pigment inks, offering maximum sharpness, a wide colour gamut and extremely precise detail reproduction. This way, you can always select the paper that best suits your photo and the desired look.

The right hanging system for a perfect result

A photo behind plexiglass looks its best with the right hanging system. Due to the smooth surface and often larger size, stability is essential. For sizes from 40 × 53 cm and up, we recommend an aluminium hanging profile, which evenly distributes the weight and ensures the photo hangs straight and flat. The profile also creates a subtle floating effect against the wall.

Smaller formats can also be mounted using a mirror hanging system, a simple yet reliable solution that is perfectly suited to smaller wall art.

: What is a photo behind plexiglass?
The printed photo is mounted onto a dibond panel and finished with either glossy or anti-reflective plexiglass. Because multiple layers are used, this creates an optical depth effect and enhances the colour reproduction. In addition, plexiglass is lighter and stronger than traditional glass, making it a popular choice for wall decoration.
: What are the differences between Fujifilm Glossy, Fujifilm Maxima Glossy and Fujifilm Pearl?
At first glance, the Glossy, Maxima Glossy and Pearl paper types from Fujifilm look very similar, as they all have a glossy finish. However, there are clear differences between them.
Fujifilm Glossy
For prints with a beautiful gloss and brilliant colour reproduction on Fuji Digital Professional DP II paper. The striking glossy finish adds vibrancy and depth to your photo. This is the most well-known and commonly used paper type.
Fujifilm Maxima Glossy
For stunning glossy prints with extra deep blacks and an extended colour gamut on Fuji Crystal Archive Professional paper. The enhanced black density makes dark tones appear even deeper, allowing colours to stand out more vividly.
Fujifilm Pearl
Delivers extra intense colour reproduction with a glossy pearlescent or metallic effect on Fuji Digital Professional DP II paper. Lighter areas and skin tones, in particular, gain a subtle metallic-like shimmer. Especially suitable for fashion, architecture and portrait photography, as well as images where spatial depth plays an important role. By interacting with ambient light, the photo gains an extra dimension.

: How can I safely clean my photo behind plexiglass?
Carefully use a feather duster or a dry or slightly damp cloth without any cleaning agents. Make sure not to get the edges wet, as the photo print is made of paper and remains sensitive to moisture.
: When can I expect my ordered product?
The production time for a photo behind acrylic glass is on average 7 working days. Once production has been completed, your order is handed over to the postal service the same day. You will receive a confirmation email along with a Track & Trace code, allowing you to track your shipment.
: What are the shipping costs?

: Is a hanging system included with a floating frame?
Yes, if you choose a floating frame, the hanging system is included.
: How thick is the final product?
The total thickness of the product is approximately 7 mm.

: My photo file is not displayed completely or only partially. Why is that?
This usually happens because the aspect ratio of your photo file differs from that of the selected size. If the chosen format has a different (smaller) ratio, part of the image will be cropped.
Would you like to prevent this? In the toolbar on the left, under options, choose a size that better matches the aspect ratio of your photo file.
: I have a landscape photo, but it is displayed in portrait. How can I change this?
You can adjust the rotation by selecting ‘Change orientation’. This option can be found on the right-hand side of the page or on the left in the toolbar under options.
: Can I order a custom size?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. We only produce the size options shown on the website.
