How do I create the perfect photo wall?

: What is dibond?
Dibond is a high-quality panel composed of three layers: two outer layers of thin aluminium with a black synthetic core in between. This construction provides maximum rigidity and a perfectly flat finish, making Dibond highly suitable for mounting premium photo prints and for long-term use.
: Which hanging systems are available?
Depending on the size, you can choose between a mirror hanging system or an aluminium frame. Discover our hanging systems.
: Is there a hanging system included if I choose a floating frame?
Yes, if you choose a floating frame, the hanging system is included.
: My photo file is not displayed completely or only partially. Why is that?
This usually happens because the aspect ratio of your photo file differs from that of the selected size. If the chosen format has a different (smaller) ratio, part of the image will be cropped.
Would you like to prevent this? In the toolbar on the left, under options, choose a size that better matches the aspect ratio of your photo file.
: Is my photo file large enough for the selected size?
As soon as you upload your photo file, the system automatically checks whether your image contains enough pixels per centimetre to ensure a sharp print. If this is not the case, the programme will indicate this with a red circle containing an exclamation mark.
For a sharp photo print, we use the following guideline:
118 pixels per centimetre
(This is the same as 300 pixels per inch, but centimetres are easier to work with.)
→ 118 pixels per cm = good photo quality
How do you check if your photo is large enough?
You can calculate it as follows:
Number of pixels ÷ number of centimetres = pixels per centimetre
You only need to calculate this for one side (width or height).
Example
Your photo is: 3000 × 4500 pixels
You want to print it at: 20 × 30 cm
We calculate using the short side:
3000 pixels ÷ 20 cm = 150 pixels per cm
Is that good enough?
Required for a sharp print: 118 pixels per cm
Your photo has: 150 pixels per cm
Yes. This photo is more than sharp enough for a 20 × 30 cm print.
: I have a landscape photo, but the file is displayed in portrait. How can I change this?
You can adjust the rotation by selecting ‘Change orientation’. This option can be found on the right-hand side of the page or on the left in the toolbar under options.
: Can I order a size that is not listed on the website?
No, unfortunately this is not possible. We can only produce the sizes that are offered as options on the website.
: When can I expect my ordered product?
The production time for a photo on dibond is on average 7 working days. Once production has been completed, your order is handed over to the postal service the same day. You will receive a confirmation email along with a Track & Trace code, allowing you to follow your shipment.
