Do you want to print your photos in larger formats and still order them on Fine Art paper? In addition to our Fuji photo paper, we also offer photos on inkjet paper of course, with the same high quality you’ve come to expect from us.

Inkjet Paper: Different Types

Since 2016, in addition to our high-quality photochemical prints, we have also offered a range of inkjet prints. Large-format black-and-white photos, for example, can be printed on Lustre paper using four shades of gray ink (Inkjet Lustre B&W) or on special Fine Art paper (K4 Ultrachrome B&W) with no less than four shades of black ink. The latter paper provides even greater depth and detail in your black-and-white images.

For larger color prints, inkjet printing also offers suitable paper options, such as Inkjet Lustre Color and Fine Art Color. Unlike photochemical prints, where the colors are absorbed into the paper, inkjet prints sit on the surface of the paper. This makes photochemical prints less prone to damage, whereas Fine Art inkjet prints require careful handling, ideally with silk gloves.

Inkjet Lustre Color

Inkjet Lustre Color has a finish comparable to Fuji Lustre, but the range of available photo sizes is much broader. Inkjet Lustre starts at 30×45 cm and can be expanded up to 120×180 cm. This makes it a great addition to our assortment, allowing us to offer sizes wider than the current 76 cm limit.

Prefer a smaller format? If that size is also available on Fuji Lustre paper, we always recommend choosing that option.

FineArt FibaPrint Color

A fan of photos with a matte finish? Then FineArt FibaPrint paper is a perfect choice. Your prints achieve rich, deep colors and a warm appearance, making it especially suitable for portraits and landscapes. The paper has a “baryta-like” quality, giving it an extremely matte finish, while the colors remain vivid and the contrast high.

Inkjet Lustre Black & White

The introduction of Ultrachrome K4 ink opens up new possibilities for black-and-white prints. Using four shades of gray significantly improves the overall gray balance, resulting in more visible detail and better tonal density in both light and dark areas. This paper is suitable for all types of photography.

FineArt K4 Ultrachrome Black & White

K4 Ultrachrome represents the pinnacle of black-and-white printing. This unique printing process uses four shades of black ink instead of the three typically used. As a result, Ultrachrome prints achieve the highest resolution and the most subtle tonal range of any digital black-and-white printing process. Through a precise combination of inks, media, and workflow, everything comes together perfectly. This makes it especially suitable for prints with lots of detail and deep shadows thanks to the four shades of black ink, fine details remain visible even in the darkest areas.

Advice for Choosing: Go for Fuji Photo Paper

All of our prints are, of course, of a quality we stand behind. However, more expensive doesn’t always mean better. If you have a choice and there’s no specific reason to opt for Inkjet or Fine Art paper, we always recommend choosing Fuji paper. This paper delivers the sharpest and most colorful results.
