Do you have a (new) Acoustic Wall Art at home? Then it’s time to assemble it! But how do you do that? Below you’ll find all the tips and instructions you need to put your Acoustic Wall Art together.

The DIY kit

You receive the Acoustic Wall Art as a DIY kit for a hands-on creative experience. Each kit includes a textile changeable fabric with your chosen photo, an aluminum frame, and a sound absorbing panel.

To easily assemble the acoustic wall panel, you will receive the following components:
* Frame parts (4 pieces) – these form the basis of the frame
* Corner connectors (2 × 4 pieces) to connect the frame parts
* Sound absorbing panel including mounting pieces and Velcro
* Hanging brackets (2 pieces)
* Allen key (1 piece)

Step 1: lay everything out on the floor

Place the different parts of the aluminum frame on the floor. Pay close attention to the difference between the front and the back of the frame. You can recognize the front of the frame by the open side, where the fabric will be placed.

Step 2: slide the corner connectors into the frame

After laying the frame parts on the floor, you can easily screw in the corner connectors. Place the two different corner connectors on top of each other (the plain connector at the bottom, with the connector that has holes on top). Slide the stacked corner connectors into the frame, then slide another frame part over the free corner connector.

Use the supplied Allen key to tighten the corner connectors. Make sure the frame parts fit together as tightly as possible for the best visual result.

Step 3: place the sound absorbing panels in the frame

Before placing the sound absorbing panel into the frame, you first need to screw the mounting pieces into the frame. Once the mounting pieces are firmly secured, you can attach the acoustic panel to the frame, with the hard side facing the wall.

Attach the supplied corner pieces (with a Velcro side and an adhesive side) to the wall behind the sound absorbing panels. This helps keep the panel securely in place.

Step 4: stretch the fabric

Place the changeable fabric over the frame. First, push the plastic beading (at the edges of the fabric) into the four corners of the frame. Then press the longer sides into place. When the fabric is correctly installed, no white beading will be visible on the front of your acoustic wall art.

Step 5: mount the hanging system to the wall

Drill holes in the correct positions (optionally use wall plugs depending on your wall type) and securely screw the hanging brackets to the wall, making sure they are level. Place the frame onto the brackets and your frame is hung!
