How do I assemble an acoustic wall panel?
The acoustic wall panel is supplied as a DIY kit. With these clear instructions, you’ll have it assembled in no time.
What is the difference between direct printing and a photo print on wall art?
There are several ways to create wall art. For example, we offer both a photo mounted on Dibond and a direct print on Dibond. The same applies to plexiglass and Forex. But what’s the difference?
With a direct print, the image is printed directly onto the material itself. The photo is built up pixel by pixel, resulting in intense colours and a beautiful matte finish.
With a photo print, the image is photochemically exposed onto real photo paper. The photo print is then mounted onto the panel material. This professional photo paper is known for its wide colour gamut (sRGB) and outstanding quality. Colours remain vibrant, images are razor-sharp, free of visible screening and feature smooth tonal transitions.
What is plexiglass?
The photo is printed on the back of a sheet of plexiglass, also known as acrylic glass. A protective layer is then applied over the image. Plexiglass gives your photo a glossy surface and enhances colour depth. It’s also lighter and stronger than traditional glass, making it a popular choice for wall art.
What components does acoustic wall art consist of?
When you choose an acoustic photo panel, it includes the following components:
- Textile print with interchangeable fabric. A flexible fabric with a rubber edge.
- Aluminium frame: The fabric is stretched tightly into this frame.
- Sound-absorbing panels: These panels help improve the acoustics of the room. The product is delivered as a DIY kit and is very easy to assemble.
Can I wash the textile fabric?
No, it is not possible to wash the textile fabric.
Can I iron the interchangeable fabric of the acoustic wall art?
No, ironing is not necessary. Once you stretch the textile fabric into the frame, any creases will usually disappear within three days. If this isn’t the case, please let us know via [email protected] or call us on +31 (0)10 264 0410.
How do you hang a photo on canvas?
