Deeply embedded colours through sublimation

An HD Metal print is created using advanced sublimation technology. The image is first printed with four-colour, heat-sensitive inks onto special transfer paper. It is then transferred onto the coating of a 1.2 mm thick aluminium panel under high temperature and pressure. This process results in an exceptionally sharp, high-contrast and colour-accurate image with a smooth surface and outstanding durability.

Hanging systems for HD Metal prints

For your HD Metal print, you can choose a hanging system that suits the size and desired presentation. Up to and including 40 × 60 cm, you can select either a mirror hanging system or an aluminium profile. The mirror hanging system provides a sleek, floating installation, while the aluminium profile offers extra stability and positions the print slightly away from the wall.

For larger sizes, from 50 × 75 cm up to and including 70 × 105 cm, the aluminium hanging profile is available. This profile ensures sufficient load-bearing capacity and a secure, stable wall mounting.

Is the HD Metal print reflective?

Yes, HD Metal is supplied with a glossy finish as standard. This gloss enhances the intensity and vibrancy of the colours, but it does mean the print may show slight reflections in direct light. For maximum colour intensity and a striking “wet look”, however, the glossy finish is ideal.
